Life is to short to be basic.
— Yasmin Salina

Hustlers Guild founder, Yasmin Salina, gives us an in-depth view of how her childhood Boys & Girls Club sparked the idea to create her own nonprofit organization. After serving six years under the Obama Administration, Yasmin was left with only a few options as to how and who she would be working for as a new 30 something. Inspired by Diddy and Jay-Z, Yasmin decided to be her own boss and turn her passion for youth advocacy into something that could be utilized by the very same community she grew up in. In little to over a year, Yasmin and her team have managed to grow that passion into a fully operational nonprofit that develops and empowers youth through the use of STEM and Hip Hop. Recently recognized by Beyond Ideas Group, The Hustlers Guild has quickly become one of the most innovative and impactful nonprofits to spawn out of the DMV area. Check out Yasmin’s story of success in this week’s episode of Love Yourz!
